Movement Media works collaboratively to create quality content, with a focus on making media for movements. Our videos strengthen community programs and amplify campaigns. We have previously worked on projects supporting immigrant and refugee rights, racial justice, ending family violence, gun law reform, youth development, and climate justice.
Additionally, we produce documentary style video of community events and celebrations, and develop promotional content for small scale makers and vendors to promote products and services.
Hiring Movement Media for a private event or to promote your products means you will be supporting future grassroots social justice media advocacy. For each private event or promotional video we produce we are dedicated to creating a matching pro bono or low bono movement media project. Pricing for our movement media work is based on a sliding scale, according to each organisation's financial capacity.

OUR Mission

To develop impactful, strong, collaborative relationships with creative partners.

To work with individuals, nonprofits, social movements, and organisations in order to strengthen social justice projects and campaigns through the production of quality content.

Zac Rudge

Producer. Filmmaker. Facilitator

Zac has worked as a community development worker, capacity builder, and media maker in a number of different time zones. He has worked with social justice-focused organisations in Australia, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, The Philippines, Timor Leste, and the United States. Living in NYC for five years, he ran a citywide teen digital media education program, and began focusing on making media production his full time gig. In 2016 he began working as a producer at boutique production company Bright Red Pixels, and developed Movement Media in 2018. Zac has worked closely with the Australian climate movement to advocate for immediate action to ensure a liveable planet.

"Working with Zac and Movement Media was a wonderful and seamless experience! Zac helped us create two videos, one on the Women’s March and the other a ‘thank-you’ video for our Annual Appeal, both of which received rave reviews from our supporters. Zac had a great creative vision for the videos, worked efficiently, and was attentive to all our needs. As a nonprofit, resources for these projects are often limited, but with Movement Media’s help we were able to make Sanctuary for Families shine!" - Hannah Eddy, Manager of Communications and Outreach, Sanctuary for Families
